Forests have been an integral part of our lives since birth. We have come to realize that the state of forests is not as good everywhere in the world as it is in Finland. Here, forests are a key part of our national identity, but in many parts of the world, deforestation is a real threat.
That’s why we do everything we can to ensure that the wood we source does not contribute to deforestation. All of the foreign wood we use is certified, and we know its country of origin. As for our domestic wood, we are familiar with its precise origin down to the locality, allowing us to personally verify its sustainable cultivation. And, needless to say, we never use endangered species of wood. Never.
